Our wraps and Biryani Bar have redefined the concept of eating Indian food. All those wonderful flavours of India brought to our customers in a convenient, healthy, and fresh format. Come and join our exciting new brand as the Store Manager of our flagship store.

Main Requirements

• Must have a thorough knowledge and articulation of Indian Cuisine

• Must have passion, commitment and genuine leadership ability

• Previous experience in management position essential ideally gained in a restaurant environment

• Must be able to manage and motivate the store team to achieve results

• Must have an understanding of sales targets and budgets and how these are achieved

• Must be an ambassador for customer service

• Must take personal responsibility and ownership for the store

• Must be a good communicator with people at all levels – suppliers, staff, customers and directors of the Company

• Must have the ability to train and develop the store team

• Must enjoy working with the public

• Must have a good working knowledge of the basics of food hygiene

• Must be a team player who is happy to share ideas with fellow colleagues


• To manage store operation within guidelines provided by the Company with the aim of achieving high levels of profit, standards and customer service

• To be accountable for all administration carried out in line with Company procedures

• To ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to and that all employees understand these and the implications of non-compliance

• To be familiar with and comply with instructions given through communication from head office in the form of the Procedures Manuals, Health & Safety Folder, Food Safety Folder, Staff Handbook and other forms of communication

• To continually test that digital delivery orders from the store are dealt with in a timely manner and that the delivery products are presented for the customer in a first-class manner. Check with customers that deliveries are to the standard expected of the company

• To ensure that digital review sites maintain a rating of 4.3 (out of 5) or greater

• To notify Operations Manager/director of the store sales, costs and other information relating to the store as requested

• To ensure that store running costs are kept to a minimum whilst maintaining standards

• To devise and implement local marketing programs in order to maximise sales growth

• To ensure that sales targets are achieved whilst working within the given budgets as dictated by the Operations Manager/director

• To comply with health and safety legislation with regard to self, employees and customers

• To provide and maintain a clean, tidy, safe and pleasant environment for customers and staff

• To ensure that food, packaging and labour costs are controlled and in accordance with budgets as agreed by Operations Manager/director

• To ensure that stock levels are appropriate for store sales and to ensure product availability at all times

• Where the store is in a shopping centre, liaise with centre management to ensure store is compliant with all procedures

Food Preparation & Hygiene

• To ensure that high quality of food hygiene standards is maintained

• To ensure that food displays are always freshly stocked, unsold food is disposed of in accordance with guidelines and wastage is monitored

• To order stock as required in order to offer the company’s full product range for sale

• To take responsibility for all stock delivered and held at the store, and for the stock-taking result

• To ensure that food is stored in accordance with the Procedures Manual

Staff Management

• To recruit, train, motivate and develop store staff, supervisors and assistant managers to enable them to run the store in the absence of the Manager

• To instruct employees to ensure that the store trades to maximum effect within Company guidelines

• To ensure that staff are fully briefed and have the ability to carry out the tasks required of them, including the communication of instructions given by head office

• To ensure that staff appearance, company uniforms, conduct and customer engagement are in accordance with the company guidelines as set out in the Policies and Procedures manual
