Job title: Supervisor at Quiz (30 hours)

Job Purpose:

To support the Store Management team in all areas of the daily operation of the store by providing the highest standards of customer service to maximise sales.


Personal :

Portray a smart, clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the company's dress guidelines at all time

Be punctual and maintain a high standard of attendance

Complete and pass product knowledge training

Actively ensure that a high level of team spirit is maintained

Customer Service :

Offer a high standard of customer service to every customer using 5 non-negotiable sales standards

Use product knowledge to assist customers, offer add-ons and convert the sale

Communicate politely and friendly, and smile towards every customer

Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner

Apply the above standards to all phone inquiries

Sales, Profit & Cost:

Act as Duty Manager/keyholder with full responsibility in other management team members absence

Influence and control all store KPI's

Accountable and responsible for administration policies and procedures e.g. cash handling, stocktake, security

100% compliance to store standards

complete all daily paperwork including wall planner, scorecards and performance trackers

Run the floor ensuring operational and sales standards are maintained

Drive ATV and conversion to achieve Company targets

Stock :

Handle and process stock effectively following Company guidelines

Merchandise and display stock in accordance with Company Visual Merchandising guidelines

Ensure that all stock deliveries are accurately checked and any discrepancies reported to the Management Team

Possess a high standard of product knowledge and be aware of best sellers

Assist with quarterly stock takes

People :

Ensure the team achieve the required standard of conduct and job performance

Security :

Be extremely vigilant and security conscious throughout the store

Be aware of all cash security procedures

Follow all procedures relating to both internal and external theft

Training :

Be pro-active about keeping up to date with the Company, our products and team brief information

Set and achieve goals during each review period

Take advantage of the training opportunities that are offered to develop your retail skills

Store Systems :

Ensure that all transactions are accurately entered through the till

Ensure handling methods of payment is accurate

Carry out cash administration duties in an efficient, accurate and friendly manner

Follow cash administration procedure at all times

Additional Duties :

Any other duties as instructed by Store Manager

Skills & Experience :

Flexibility towards working hours

Experience of working within a customer service environment

Excellent people skills with the ability to deal with a wide variety of customers

Understands KPI's and how to drive them

Has the ability to act and operate on their own initiative to deputise for line manager

Has effective communication, time management, planning and organisational skills

Key Performance Indicators :

Responsible for achieving store sales targets

Ensure the 5 non-negotiable standards are implemented

Stock Loss in line with target

Improved ATV and IPS target

Conversion target

Further information: Must be fully flexible and able to work evening and weekends
Must have previous supervisor/managerial experience
